'VATASVAKA' (in Brahmi) Three-arched hill surmounted by crescent in center; to right, female adorant or deity standing to left, extending hands toward the crescent; below, pelleted hill. Rev. Blank. This fascinating type was issued around the time of the Indo-Greek King Agathokles. Vatasvaka was probably a local ruler of Taxila and/or an Indo-Greek vassal.
